T1 Volkswagen of America Campmobile, in contrary to what the name suggests, this camper was built in Germany with parts supplied by volkswagen US and for the US market.
Only just over 200 were built and only few survived.
This beautiful T1 turkis green is a mid 1962 example therefor still the old body style with small rearhatch and ice-pick doorhandles.
The condition of this unrestored bus is far above average, and probably one of the best orginal buses i saw in the last 30 years.
Mostly orginal paint, 100% correct and in perfect condition interieur, with all the rare parts like to toilet, cooker and awning.
She covered only 56000 miles, looking at the condition i am 99% sure these are the original miles.
