About 1 year ago we started the restauration on this bus, wanted to keep as much original paint and looks as possible, very happy with the end result.
T1 combi with walk-through, original German bus, built in 1964, largely in its original paint with a mild patina.
It started as a project in which everything was checked and tackled: including welding carried out and blended in to match, new headliner and upholstery, tires, brakes, steering, wiring harness, all seals, petrol tank, conversion to 12V, etc..
Engine runs strong and works fine along with a tight-shifting gearbox.
A lot of time and money has been invested to get it to this point.
